Travis County ESD No. 9 Insurance Service Office (ISO) Ratings

The Insurance Service Office has filed new ratings for the Cities of Rollingwood, West Lake Hills and the unincorporated areas of Travis County ESD No. 9. click here to review the ratings. The Travis County Commissioners Court have lifted the ban on outdoor burning in Travis County effective Sept. 5, 2018. Outdoor burning is now allowed in the unincorprated areas of Travis County.

Outdoor burning will be allowed in Travis County ESD No. 9 by permit only. To obtain a burn permit, call 512-539-3456 and leave a message including your name, address and phone number. A Fire Department official will set up an appointment to come out and conduct a site inspection.

It is recommended to apply for a burn permit three to five days prior to the desired commencement of the burn.

Outdoor burning is always prohibited in the cities of Austin, Rollingwood and West Lake Hills.
