The Travis County Emergency Services District No. 9 (aka “Westlake Fire Department”) Emergency Prevention Division reviews plans for all new construction and remodels within its district in order to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Plans for all projects in Travis County ESD No. 9 shall be submitted electronically using the link above or by going to www.wfdpermits.com. If the link or web site do not work for any reason, please contact us immediately at email@example.com to discuss submitting in an alternative manner.
Please understand that plans are reviewed in the order they are received. Depending on current workload and complexity of plans submitted, plan reviews may take up to two weeks to complete. Also note that Westlake Fire Department charges a fee for most plan reviews and inspections. When making a payment, checks shall be payable to “Travis County ESD No. 9” or “Westlake Fire Department”.
